Product Description
Introducing our "Husky Link" HD M4 Steering Links Kit, specifically designed for Redcat GEN8 enthusiasts
This is a set of 3 pcs Steering links with Rod Ends / Brass Hollow Balls for Redcat GEN8.
It not only replaces the weakest link in the stock set up but also improve the existing Bump Steer condition significantly. However, if you want to "totally eliminate" the bump steer, we would suggest our "Servo Relocation Mount" to correct the stock steering geometry.
Package Include:
140 mm Stainless Steel Link x 1 ( Tie Rod )
70 mm Stainless Steel Link x 1 ( Bended Track Bar, Panhard )
65 mm Stainless Steel Link x 1 ( Drag Link )
80 mm Stainless Steel Link x 1 ( Drag Link ) for use with stock servo mount.
Straight Rod End x 4 ( Tie Rod / Track Bar )
10° Angled Rod Ends x 2 ( Drag Link )
Due to the Beeffy M4 rod end on the Tie Rod in this kit, extended 12mm wheel hex is suggested to have better clearance with the tire.
" Husky Link" is our Heavy Duty 6mm SUS304 Stainless Steel M4 Links, paired with our beefy M4 Rod Ends, and Nickel Plated Brass Hollow Balls
The "Husky Link" kit offers a versatile configuration with different lengths of stainless steel links tailored for specific applications, including the Tie Rod, Bended Track Bar (Panhard), and Drag Link. The straight and angled rod ends provide flexibility in installation. The kit also includes a special 80mm Stainless Steel Link for use with the stock servo mount. For optimal performance, we recommend using an extended 12mm wheel hex for better clearance with the tire.

Redcat Husky Links
Overall I really like the link set. For the people that are complaining about the rig being pigeon toed after, just lengthen the tie rod a little bit and it's good. My only complaint is how loose the joints are. They are tight in the directions they need to be, but flop around quite a bit. Otherwise they're great. Used them with and without a servo relocation.

Not happy
I have purchased almost every product offered for the redcat gen 8 that you offer from various different sources. I currently have a gen 8 axe and have installed many of your parts along with treal. And first off DIRECTIONS would've been nice. Also the quality of metal is great. But hardware is very lacking in quality. Also I am extremely pissed that most of these items are not direct fitment such as the servo mount. I am 32 years old and have done small appliance repair my whole life. So I have an idea of what is correct and what's not. And honestly I am not happy with the parts I've purchased other than maybe the skids and servo protector. I have the following all from club 5. 1.Husky link kit 2. Steering kit. 3. Rock lighting kit. 4. Servo relocation plate. 5. Servo protection plate. 6. Rock sliders. Also the Rock light kit should have more than just 1 template for all 8 cuts that have to be made for mounting. I really hope se improvements are made so other people won't have these same issues. And thank you for putting the directions on the website recently. It does help alot but they should come with the product. I hope this helps. I love the IDEA of all the products you offer. But please maybe charge more so you can improve the quality some.

Best fix ever for the Gen8
These links paired with club 5 servo relocation and 8mm hex’s might just be the best thing to happen to a redcat Gen 8! Stops body roll and replaces the weak steering link setup!

The links are nice and strong. I would say though that the center link needs to either be longer or have less bend on it, the way it comes causes the vehicle to be severely toed in.
Nice with a bit of work.

Gen8 husky link kit
Hello, Club5 racing team I like the idea behind the steering kit. I am disappointed to find I am replacing plastic link ends with more plastic link ends the metal bars rarely fail in my experience. The other thing is if you tighten the link end all the way onto the link bars so they look and fit properly It leaves the gen8 very pigeon towed making it look funny with the tires towed way in and making it drive trouble, it will not go in a strait line. The included screw is just a hair short for the wheel end of the servo drag link mine does not engage the nylon locking part on the nylock nut. Thank you.
