Better than Velcro!
These magnets are pretty sweet. I love that they bolt on vs having to glue them. Install is as hard or easy as you make it. I took my time, drilled the holes for the top side first, then used those holes for the bottom side so the magnets would be centered. The body snaps right on 100x easier than Velcro. Removal of the body is easy too, and no Velcro peeling off when it's hot out. I wish they were a LITTLE stronger. While the body hasn't come e off while wheeling yet, I haven't really rolled hard. If I lift up on the body only, it pops right off. I sorta expected it to need some good force to remove. Still awesome product at an AWESOME price though!

At first I was a little unsure how well they were going to work. To my surprise they hold very very well. Install was simple it took longer to get the velcro off and clean up the glue on the Gen 8.

Rare earth countersunk magnets
The magnets are th perfect solution to the factory Velcro as it doesn’t last very long. They self center the body perfectly every time which is really nice! I would definitely recommend these vs flying magnets on the plastic fends as that doesn’t work very well.

Countersunk rare earth magnets for Gen8 body mount
Very happy with these as they are way better then the Velcro, don't have to worry about them coming off like the Velcro was doing, they are bolted on. Very easy to install.

The magnets fit good and are much more convenient than the velcro. They seem to be the right strength, if anything they could be a little stronger, but its not an issue. I chose to use the supplied bolts to install, Ive seen them installed using shoe goo or other adhesive. Good product, fast shipping. I'm a club5 fan.

So strong you need to be careful
These hold my lid on my gen8 like mad, no rattling or popping off in a tumble. I will say, you need to be careful when installing them. I was I attaching all the north side magnets first and sticking the south ones together as I went, and I let the magnetism snatch one from too far away and it cracked that magnet in half, kind of a bummer, but it was my fault.

Not very happy with the magnets! I used the magnets to hold down rc truck body. I'm very disappointed in the power of the magnets!
