So strong you need to be careful
These hold my lid on my gen8 like mad, no rattling or popping off in a tumble. I will say, you need to be careful when installing them. I was I attaching all the north side magnets first and sticking the south ones together as I went, and I let the magnetism snatch one from too far away and it cracked that magnet in half, kind of a bummer, but it was my fault.

Not very happy with the magnets! I used the magnets to hold down rc truck body. I'm very disappointed in the power of the magnets!

Does away with junk Velcro on my Gen8 Axe, will keep the body on the scout with minor rolls, but if you’re going to go crazy then might as well use the body mounts with pins to hold it on. One thing to be aware of, with the added weight I have with brass portals etc., you cannot pick up by the body; use the bumpers to pick up.
