Aluminum Servo Relocation / Front Bumper Mount for Redcat GEN8
Precision CNC 6061 Aluminum Alloy version is now available!
This is a Servo Relocation Mount to correct the steering geometry.
By centering the servo in the ideal location between the frame rail, panhard link ( track bar ) will parallel to the drag link. It will "totally eliminate" the bump steer, hence greatly reduce body roll while steering.
It will work with the stock steering links but you'll have to mount the drag link from the servo horn to the knuckle end of the tie rod, instead of the original stock position.

Great Part, Ideal with 540 motor not 550 size
Part looks and feels amazing. The only gripe I had is that with the 550 Size motor there is just not enough room. You can definitely make it work but only running 2 Servo Screws. Feels sturdy enough with 2 but still a bummer.

Excellent addition!
Excellent addition, a little tricky when relocating the drag link from the tie rod to directly on the top of the tie rod mount and adjusting the servo horn, but once installed zero body roll when turning.

Best upgrade for your Gen 8 EVER!
This has got to be the BEST upgrade for your Gen 8. Maybe it's because I also got the link kit with it, but every little bit of slop in the front end is gone. The steering now feels super tight and controllable with ZERO play in it. The steering angle is also improved. I replaced the stock servo with a fairly cheap 25kg servo I got on Amazon for around $20 and this truck just feels like a completely different machine now. I can't recommend this kit along with the upgraded links enough. You won't be sorry. Thank you Club 5 for making an excellent product.

Aluminum Servo Relocation / Front Bumper Mount for Redcat GEN8
This fit in nicely on my Gen 8. I like how it re-positions the servo to front to back vs the stock side to side. Once installed it also creates a tighter turn radius. A great addition to any Gen 8. I would highly recommend using it in conjunction with Club5"s "Husky Link" HD M4 Steering Links Kit for Redcat GEN8. An awesome combination!

Parts work as advertised but anyone new to the hobby will have difficulty installing. Great performance.

tight fit
When installing this I found that it fit right up against the wire connections of the motor. I added a strip of electrical tape to avoid damage to my motor.
