Product Description
- Introducing the new WATERPROOF "EZON" LED Lighting system for Traxxas TRX-4 Bronco Body from Club 5 Racing.
-
Designed from the ground up, specifically for TRX-4 Bronco Body. User friendly is our #1 focus and simplicity is our ultimate goal. So you won't find any fancy flashing lights or confusing modes to set up, all functional lights are there to do what they're supposed to do.
One of the key design feature is that we have splitted the control unit into two circuits: Primary circuit on the body for all the LED connections and the Secondary control circuit with very small footprint remains on the chassis, small enough you can fit it in many of the stock water tight receiver box. So when you need to remove the body for replacing battery or if you need to do other maintenance, there is only ONE wire to disconnect from the chassis.
As for the Bronco body, all the wires are cut to length to fit the body perfectly! In additional We've also 3D printed new front light brackets to better position all the LEDs attached.
The Y connections to the Servo (CH1) and ESC (CH2) is also integrated into the secondary circuit to make the whole set up tidy. And there are two more outlets each available on both primary and secondary circuits for your additional needs such as roof rack lighting, flood lights, high mount brake light, front / rear bumper lights, rock lights...etc. And the best part is that you have total control over all the lights via your TQi transmitter without any other remote control unit.
Installation can be done in 3 easy steps:
1. Attach all LEDs from primary circuit to your Bronco body.
For the front end, you have to remove the front grill, we've included the front led brackets ( 3D printed ) to replace the stock unit for your convenience.
Drill the corresponding holes on the front the lexan body, reinstall the grill and plug in with led lights. The two front yellow signal lights need to be bended to the side as it may interfere with the fender on the chassis, but try to bend it just once to position ( if you bend it back and force for multiple times the tiny led leads may break ).
- For the rear end, you'll also need to drill a 3 mm hole on the stock light bracket for the signal light on either side and install the leds.
-
2. Reconnect steering servo / ESC / 3rd channel servo to secondary control circuit and receiver. Please be patient and pay special attention +/ - directions and it may damage the circuit and even your ESC if you got directions wrong.
The first Y connection on the secondary circuit ( With Yellow tape ) is for the steering servo. Just remove the steering servo plug ( CH1 ) from the receiver and plug it into the female end and plug the male end of this Y connection to CH1 on the receiver
The second connection on the secondary circuit ( NO yellow tape ) is for the ESC. Just remove the ESC plug ( CH2 ) from the receiver and plug into the female end and plug the male end to CH2 on the receiver.
The third connection you need to remove the Hi / Lo gear servo from receiver and plug it to the provided Y connector's female end along with the single wire plug out of the secondary circuit. And replug the male end of the Y connector to CH3 on the receiver.
3. Connect primary and secondary circuit to complete.
Our Easy On control circuit will works on Traxxas TQi transmitter and most of other ones with two position third channel control such as Futaba or Speckrum. Besides turning signal lights, brake lights and reverse lights will come on as controlled from the transmitter, you can have the total command over all the lights remotely through the third channel. However, with the limited remote channels available with the TQi system, we have programmed the control circuits differently for the TRX-4 command as followed for the Hi/Lo speed 3rd channel to control the "Easy On" system.
1. One click to turn on/off Head Light
2. Two clicks to turn on/off Optional light such as fog Lights ( 6V )
3. Three clicks to turn on/off Emergency Lights
4. Turning Steering wheel Right / Left and Click on the Hi / Lo switch at the same time to control other optional lights
LED Lighting system will include the following:
Primary Control Circuit ( for LEDs connections )
Seconday control Circuit ( for Signal connections and optional bumper and rock lights connections )
Head light x 2 ( Warm White 5 mm )
Signal lights x 8 ( Yellow 3 mm )

Very nice!
I finished the installation and I am impressed with the functionality. The only thing I didn’t like was that the headlight switch was only 1 click of the diff lock switch. This means I could only have my headlights on if I am on low gear or high gear. I wanted the headlights on on either gear. The way to fix this is to move the headlight connector to output 6 AND add another 6V led (fog lights) on output 5 otherwise it will not work. Now I can have my headlights on whether in low or high gear. Other than that it’s a great accessory to add!!!

79 Bronco Light Kit
Pretty good light kit, the instruction paper that you get in the box is a little light on information, had to get the rest of the info on the website. Had all the info just had to look at the paper and website combined, would be nice if it was all on paper. Pretty simple install, had to file few things but over all not bad! Recommend over traxxas kit %100!!
